I was glad to stumble across this quote the other day. I won’t lie. Struggling with anxiety makes it so easy to get trapped in a constant cycle of negative thoughts and emotions. If I don’t make a valiant effort each day to focus on the good things surrounding me, it’s way too easy to see all the bad things. Then all of sudden, life sucks and I feel miserable. So it’s important to me that I make the effort to find the good/positive every day in order to have the best day possible.
Some days are easier than others. I just look around and see good things. Other days I have to really dig deep to realize things are not as bad as they may seem. A few days throughout the month, I might fail completely. But the important thing is I keep trying and that keeps me going.
