I am excited to share about another project I have in the works on Wattpad! In 2016, I won my first NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I wrote the first 50,418 words of The Demon Tower, the first book in my new fantasy series called Siochana Chronicles. I’ve been editing The Demon Tower on Wattpad and feel really excited about the way it’s shaping up! Siochana Chronicles is a bit darker than my first series, The Guardians of Bliss, but will still have the theme of HOPE most of my writing tends to cling to. I hope if you have the chance, you’ll take a little trip over to Wattpad by clicking the link below!
Synopsis:
As a branded slave, Aileen’s life is in short supply of hope. Pain, humiliation, and complete lack of control over her life are constant companions. Her one and only friend, a self-proclaimed prince of the long lost Faerie Folk, does his best to bring a little light into her world and even finds a way to free Aileen of her chains.
Yet darkness will always dig its gnarled claws in deeper when the light threatens to rip it away.
Just when she dares to hope her life can be something more than servitude and misery, Aileen is taken prisoner by a rogue Warlock determined to force her into making an impossible choice: cling to her free will or sentence someone she loves to death.
Siochana is a story of hope…and the lack there of. The balance between good and evil is in constant motion, and perhaps being good doesn’t always guarantee a victory over evil. Or does it?

I wish! After these are finished I need to wrap up book 3 for my first series lol. I’m 50,000 words in so it shouldn’t be too hard, but need to keep that momentum going.

Oh no! You’re fine! Yeah, 50,000 words. You should check out http://www.nanowrimo.com. It’s a writing challenge. You might enjoy it.
I have one complete novel on Amazon and then I have more in the editing phase, each of them 50,000+ words. It’s definitely been a journey, lol.

I’m impressed and I applaud you! I’ve tried to write a story with characters and a plot and all that… that’s a very particular talent that I don’t think I have… I went through a small phase of seeing a picture and tried to write the story of it.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. I’m not very good at writing short stories. I can’t wrap up a story in just a few pages. My characters come to me with a lot to say, lol. I hope I didn’t come across like I was bragging earlier. That wasn’t my intent. It’s just after almost a lifetime of trying to accomplish something with my writing, it feels good to see some progress.

Lol! I know you weren’t bragging!
I’m the opposite… I can end a story faster than begin it… I really have to think to fill it up in the middle without being boring.

It’s definitely a challenging task to find a way to fill up the gaps with interesting information!
