Always Something…

I’m not gonna lie…

There have been some serious low points for me over the past two months. The stress of not knowing whether or not I would get paid during the shut down at work; my ex getting laid off and causing a delay in child support; my grandmother ending up in the hospital with pneumonia which we worried would be Covid19; worrying about my sister after she was laid off from the job she loves; worrying about family remembers who are at higher risk of having complications should they catch Covid19; a coworker misunderstanding a post I made on social media, which led to them thinking I was being judgmental. Just so many things that made my heart feel heavy…

And those are just the things I can remember off the top of my head…

I was thankful to stumble across this quote today because it was a great reminder that even when things feel the darkest, there’s still light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve worked hard to try and shift my focus onto the positive things happening in my life, even while there are negative things going on. The harder I work to find the positive, the more of it I see. I’ve found that I don’t have to let the doom and gloom win every time. Although it’s challenging, I can train my mindset to focus more on the good and less on the things that worry me.

It’s definitely not easy, and it doesn’t happen over night… but in the end it’s worth it.

    1. Thank you, I appreciate it. We really are doing well. I’m sure there are others out there with far worse things to worry about. That’s why I’m trying to focus on the positive, because it really does outweigh the negative.

      2. Ugh, I know how that goes. I hope you are feeling better. I’m doing okay. Finally got over my anxiety of setting up the doctor appointments I need to set up. Note I just have to actually make myself go on the day it’s scheduled. 🙄
Need to make sure all my aches and pains are just age related, lol.
It’s so good to hear from you! Lots of love to you friend. 💙💙💙
